Re: X-mas list ideas? Riding Boots?

There is another company that makes kevlar lined jeans. Diamond Gusset Jeans sells a Defender model that is available in larger sizes, which is what I have.

Re: Smallstate?

In August of '79 I was in Newport at NETC, figuring it was going to be nice and cool, but instead we had the hottest summer in memory, and I was marching around and around the drill field. Then we had Hurricane David pass through. Haven't been back since. I would love to go, but these old bones woul...

Forgot to mention--Draggin Jeans also makes denim jackets with kevlar panels, and you can fit Knox armor to them.

Re: Honda Metropolitan stolen from Columbia Heights area

1. Sometimes it can be retrieved before it's trashed. Worth a chance. Look at ScootRichmond's/7 Hill's saga about the green stolen Buddy. 2. If it was taken for a joyride, it may be found in the neighborhood, abandoned. Never hurts to get the word out. Wouldn't you want all the publicity you could g...

Re: Dogwood 5/11

I'm riding down early Saturday morning, as I have to be home on the 11th to have some work done on the house. Plan to stay Saturday nite in one of the cabins, so there is some extra room if someone needs to stay over and/or doesn't have a tent or the weather turns bad. Also plan to leave early Sunda...

Re: Two rides to Dogwood on 5/11

I will be riding up in the early hours of Saturday the 12th, spending the day, and staying the night in one of the cabins. I will have to leave early next morning in order to make the Mother's Day festivities at home. It appears to be about an hour and a half to two hour trip on the back roads. If a...

Re: Looking for parts for a 2007 Vespa LX 50 restoration project

Thanks! I'll definitely get in touch with them. If all else fails, I guess SIP in Germany has the parts. Just hate to order, pay through the nose for shipping, and chance getting the wrong thing, as has already happened. This is a weird beast--it may be one of the few 2T LX 50 scoots in the States.

Looking for parts for a 2007 Vespa LX 50 restoration project

Hi all, I'm in need of: a rh side body cowling/fairing, tail section fairing a headlamp assembly, horncast cover, ET2 cdi, rh brake lever, mirrors. Aside from ordering from online or overseas, does anyone know/have leads on a salvage yard/wrecker/used scooter parts place they could recommend? Thanks,
