Re: FS: Piaggio LT150.....

The LT150's are neat LITTLE scoots....I bought one new back in 2003 when DC Vespa Washington had some close out deals on them.

Re: Locking up your MC

I run a cable or chain with lock between front and rear wheels if its gonna be parked for a long time, and lock the forks in a "turned position" when possible. Makes it nigh impossible to roll.....statement of the obvious.....but a couple burly guys can always lift and and carry it still. ...

Rear wheel is offset

I pulled my 1971 Sprint 150 out of the back of the garage today and noticed the rear wheel appears to be offset maybe close to an inch from the centerline of the scoot. Additionally the top of the wheel appears to closer to the centerline than does the tire patch.....in essence, it leans in to the t...

VIN tracing

Anybody know the best way to get a "hard copy" VIN tracing from a scoot onto a piece of paper of some sort?? Purpose being for titling/licensing at the DMV.

As in, what is the best kind of paper to use and pencil/crayon to use to get a VIN imprint onto some paper?

thanks,

Re: X-mas list ideas? Riding Boots?

I just received some boots made by Bates.....a master boot builder, who make the boots for Harley, as well as some for police and military. I am very impressed with the quality and comfort for about $100. They make various styles, as well as some with a 2" heel if you've got a cycle you're vert...

Re: Dongfang!

If one just needs to get a title for a thirty year old vehicle, and doesn't plan to be riding the vehicle in the near future, does anyone know if VT requires liability insurance to get a VT registration??

thx,

It's nice to see Turnbulls aligned with DCTriumph......although more toward the modern Hinckley Triumphs versus the older Meriden Triumphs.

It's a sign of the time I guess......
