I remember when they first came out everybody was making a stink about then because of their retro styling when everything out these was pretty much angular Hondas and Yamahas. But I have to say they don't stand the test of time, and look pretty damn uglee.

Figured it was apprapo, as this was a Harbles thread.

(Last year, they made a charity calender featuring scantily clad, saucy, mostly mature ladies on scooters ... yeah, I bought it.)

Only witnessed one Dragster in person and it was a year or so before I got into scooters. It was at that surf-bike-skate shop that's on Rt 50 near the Bay Bridge, which has sometimes had a half pipe in the lot. Think they still sell Chinese scooters.

The Dragster 180 used the same engine as the two-stroke Gilera 180. Mark Jurus let me take a test ride of theirs. It was insane!

Someone had a dragster at band camp a few years ago, it was quick (for a moped), but about halfway through the weekend it shit-the-bed never to be restarted.
