I went to see it a week or so ago... a friend of a friend is selling it so I got a call and heard "1966 Lambbretta with only 100 miles on it just taken out of a crate". Of course I got all excited and prayed for an SX.
It's from Scoot.rs. Chrome running board strips. Came over via a military bod a few years ago from Vietnam. Engine and frame #'s are Li150 but kitted to a 175.(Legshield badged as a Li200 ???) Starts great and seems to run well. Front outboard disc brake, Scoot.RS expansion chamber. Looks really pretty but shows all the signs of a Vietnam bike..... I believe the fuel tap is already broken, the chrome headlight rim has snapped and the headset top does not match the headset bottom.
Hope this helps.

I wasn't interested, I just saw it and wondered if anyone on here knew anything about it.

There isn't a scooter out there worth $3500.

Possibly not in your opinion, but when the paint man wants 2k for a full decent paint job, the motors usually cost about 1k for a full decent rebuild, and that doesn't include the cost of the scooter, tires,, cables, badging, sandblasting, seat covers or labor to build the thing, that 3500$ soon disappears...
Even an exceptional barn find is going to run about 1k to get on the road usually, plus the cost of the barn find(to include travelling time etc.), unless you are doing all the work yourself.
That's not going anywhere
