Washingtonians.........do you bother to schedule, or just show up and wait, staring at 7am at 1001 Half Street, SW?
The scheduling website essentiallys says that the scheduling is a convenience, but it's still "first come first serve".......so it's pointless to schedule.
DC Vehicle inspections?
Re: DC Vehicle inspections?
Am I totally misguided in saying that I thought 2-wheeled vehicles did not require an inspection in DC anymore? is it just vintage ones, or all?

Well, I'm asking about scooters/motorcycles AND cars/trucks.........since I have to register my truck as well.

I have just lined up before they opened and planned to wait. I don't recall it being too horrible.

I certainly don't remember ever waiting past lunch, especially if I'm lined up before they open. Although it has been a while.

Well, that was pretty painless.........got there 20 minutes before 7am (opening time) and was done by 7:20am.........people working there were actually super courteous.....maybe this move to D.C. won't be so bad overall.
DC DMV was pretty easy too.........also go there before opening, was out in an hour.......only b/c they forgot my motorcycle endorsement, and took almost 30 minutes to correct that......

Ok! Glad it was easy.
For the DMV I usually line up before opening as well. But inevitably, they screw something up. Last time I was getting the ninja titled and tagged and she came back with tags and registration stuff....in the former owner's name. I had to explain no, I needed it all to be in my name, since the bike was mine and not the seller's anymore. Erp.
