While I would reeeaaallly like to see Gang of Four next week not sure if I can swing it, it's gonna have to be a last minute thing...is anyone going to be at the show that I can text and see if it's sold out/if their set has started (by the time I can get there)? like, around 9 or 10?

Interested in Wire on 4/7!

I'm pretty sure I'm in for Gang of Four even if I'm going solo. Give me a buzz if you're wondering what's up at whatever time of you're considering coming down.

That doesn't make any sense because the First Unitarian Church is a general admission venue with no seating. Lemme look into this.

It's $17.50. Direct from the promoter: http://www.r5productions.com/event/22163/. I never trust the prices on those scalper sites.

weird. Susan if you are driving up and back in the same evening, hit me up, I may want to go. I have a mardi gras party on the 26th, so its unlikely I'll make it to the DC show.

Wait, wait, wait ... so Jonathan Richman is playing the First Unitarian? My day there was a long time ago, but that venue was pretty much for low-budget punk/indie shows where peeps could agree not to drink, and the TLA was more the kind of place to host Jonathan Richman. I'm confused. Is this aging?
Its a long walk through the city in the rain, its a long walk from train to train.
