Jenn,
If you need somone to remove your old fridge then put an ad on CL. You will likely get phone calls in 10 minutes from metal recylclers.

I did this for a clawfoot bathtub and I got about a dozen phone calls in two hours. They had to break it on the 2nd floor and carry it out in pieces since it would not fit down the stairs.

Metal recyclers are all over the place they live for free stuff that they can make a dime on at the scrap yard. I think fridges fit thier requirements.

She took a bunch of non-working air conditioners and ugly ceiling fans out of my house.
