ECC Raffle bike! Supplied by N.O.S.

Postby imjuanpablo » Mon May 06, 2013 9:03 am

Just a preview of the ECC raffle bike. Many of you are familiar with it, it started out being owned by Danielle R., then Laura S., then Danielle again.

Martin and I got it running perfectly yesterday. The gas had turned into some kind of perfume/gasoline/ethanol/water concoction, that destroyed/clogged up the fuel tap and gunked up the carb completely.........jets were completely covered in green-brass oxidation.

After changing out the fuel tap and stripping and soaking the carb parts in a bucket of that carb cleaner (highly recommended folks), we put it back to gether with all new/replaceable parts, and it started first kick.

Nice. Someone will be happy with that.
I remember when that one first surfaced, prolly 2001 :? . Had next to no miles on it. A whole family heavy duty bible bashers came down from the mountains and dropped it off, musta been 20 of them in one van, it was well funny.
That's not going anywhere

Not completely sure, but I believe it has a 135 kit, and polini exhaust....I guess the kit is polini, but I didn't check.......it's very quick for a small frame.......similar to an ET3 speed and performance, in my opinon.
