Postby Susan » Mon Jan 06, 2014 11:50 am

This year's ECC will be in lovely Dewey Beach.

The weekend of June 6-7-8.

Host hotel was just posted. Check it out and make your reservations. Group rate with code ECC - good for Thursday night as well.

See you there.

We're thinking about camping at Cape Henlopen -- trying to be thrifty this year. Anywho, spent my lunch break checking out their available campsites cause I'm neurotic and like to pick the most spacious, shaded site available. The park has plenty available, including some nice spots at the end of rows, but the super-duper, backing-up-to-the-dunes sites are all taken.

Its a long walk through the city in the rain, its a long walk from train to train.

I thought about doing the same thing, up at Henlopen, but the 10 mile commute forced me off of that idea. It is a beautiful place to camp though. My only suggestion is to bring your own firewood in, since the bundles at the park are expensive and tiny. (in my past experience)

You guys, book your room at Bay Resort if you haven't already, and decide that you want to. There are like 20ish rooms left. sure would be nice to have the whole hotel to ourselves…

After May 1 they open it up to the rest of the world. help us not do that, k? :)

Heads up peoples, we've got 16 rooms left. And if we want to plan the event that everyone wants to have, we need to get them booked up ASAP. Want mixed drinks and kegs by the pool/beachside? only if we have the run of the place. Please book now so we can all have more fun, please, thanks:
