Mike and I right now are planning on going leaving kind of late in the afternoon on Friday, I'd think we'd get there between like 9:00-10:00? will be there through Sunday, though.

Still working out the dates: probably mid-May, returning in time for ECC?

Have you figured out your route yet? And I feel like mid-May in the western plains after the sun goes down will be pretty derned cold.
I'm trying to figure out a ride for this spring... I kinda want to ride out to Skyline and down onto the Blue Ridge, maybe ~200mi. Do an evening of camping somewhere out there, and then return. I can't get my lazy brother to commit to anything, he's too busy "running" and "being broke" (bogus...) to commit to a ride. But I have a bug to go somewhere and ride fun roads the entire time. Maybe I'll swing around and ride up the DelMarVa and take the bridge-tunnel on the way back, to a two/three day thing.

Yeah, I'm a bit worried about the temps as well: one of the reasons I decided to head south first. Skyline/Blueridge/Shenandoah to Smokies to Ozarks, then across and up to Pikes Peak to Denver. Like I said, still working it out.
NOT camping, as my camping gear isn't really optimal for carrying on a bike. One challenge at a time. That'll be in next year's motorcycle budget, heh.
Was initially planning to come back via South Dakota/Wisconsin, but I don't know: I'll be keeping a close eye on the weather to the north, those temperatures are probably going to direct my route home.

I took the whole week before this rally off work so I can prep for the Corsa..
I hope to do well this year.. but my scoot is still in pieces.
